CAMPER AGES: 12 and up

TYPE OF CAMP: Overnight/Sleepaway. Day Camp. Camp is Sunday-Thursday, 9am-4pm. Overnight housing available for an additional fee.

CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Steeped in the rich jazz history of Kansas City, the UMKC Jazz Camp brings world-renowned performers and jazz educators to Kansas City to work with talented young instrumentalists and vocalists ages 12 and up. Co-directors Bobby Watson and Dan Thomas work with distinguished clinicians to provide insight and inspiration to student combos in a welcoming environment.

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Music/Band, Academics, and more. Jazz Performance

CAMP LOCATION: We are located in Kansas City, MO, on the campus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp is primarily performance and classroom-based; all events take place indoors. Final concert performance takes place in the Conservatory's White Recital Hall

OTHER CAMP INFO: Faculty will include Bobby Watson, Dan Thomas, and other world-renowned UMKC faculty

CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
