BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Painted Oaks Academy is a Large Modern Equestrian Facility located on the Econ River next to a 275 Acre Preserve with Bike and Horse Trails. We offer 8 Weeks of Camp for the 2017 Season with Registration open April 1st 2017.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: This Year's Special Needs Camp Week will be scheduled with Ms. Lisa on a one-on-one Basis.
Exact Date is yet to be deterimined. Parents are allowed to come, and Camp will only run for one week from 9am to 2pm.
Child must be able to ride un-assisted, No Hold-ons Allowed. We have Both Full Size Horses and Mini Horses for interaction without the Need to Ride for safety Reasons, including hippotherpy and Grooming preferred.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Music/Band, Fine Arts/Crafts, Team Sports, Swimming, Adventure, Wilderness/Nature, Volleyball, Soccer, Horses/Equestrian, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: We are located in East Orlando just behind the University of Central Florida on a large Equestrian Facility located on the Corner of Lake Pickett and South Tanner Road. 408E to Colonial hwy 50 exit to S. Tanner Rd. 3 miles on left just past "AVALON" subdivision. Or you can come from 419 to Lake Pickett. Only 15 Minutes from Downtown Orlando on East West Expressway. Also Close to Brevard and Seminole County SE.
CAMP FACILITIES: Large Modern Equestrian Facility on the Econ River next to the new 275 acre Econ Sandhill state preserve. We have secure parking, 24 Hour Digital monitored surveillance cameras, and Huge Air Conditioned Bunkhouse for Kids to Play and Cool off in 25' Pool and Deck, Bounce Houes Water Slides and constant interaction with the Horses, Lambs, Mini Goats, Bunnies, Chickens, Mini Horses, etc.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Children Will Arrive at 9am and Ride in the Mornings while it is Cool, Riding, Tacking Up, Equine Education, Feeding, Grooming, "Mucking" and General Horse Care. We have a Large Air Conditioned "Bunk House for Arts and Crafts for the Afternoons, with a 25' Above Ground Pool (Only 4' Deep) with constant Supervision, Bounce House with Water Slide for the Kids to Cool off in on the Hot Summer Days. Parents will provide a Healthy Lunch for the Kids to Bring M-Thurs (Refrigerator, Microwave, Pepsi & Propel Machine $1). We will have Party Fridays for Horse Show with Pizza (Cheese & Capri Suns and Water and Fresh Fruit on Friday) All Safety Equipment Provided. Private Bathrooms. We also Offer Music Lessons for Guitar, Electric, Bass, Acoustic, Piano, Voice and Drums for additional fee. Fee either 1x or 2x per week. Camp Ends at 5pm (NOT 2 like other Camps) so you can pick up after work.
